American pop star Fergie to croon for Bollywood?

The buzz in Bollywood is that Fergie, solo artist and singer of the band ‘Black Eyed Peas’, will croon for a Hindi movie.
The East-West twain have begun meeting more often than not. Only recently we saw the American rapper Snoop Dogg in a Sikh get-up, rapping to the title song of Singh Is Kinng with Akshay Kumar .
Now, rumour is rife that Fergie, the hip-hop, rap, R n’B singer-songwriter has been approached to sing a song for Shree Ashtavinayak’s production venture Blue that stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt , Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan .
According to the buzz, Fergie will sing a very steamy number for the film and will also shoot a music video with the film’s cast.
The singing sensation will reportedly fly down to Mumbai to record the song and shoot the video which will most likely be directed by Anthony D’Souza, who’s directing ‘Blue’.
The movie is an action adventure, shot mostly underwater. Given the mammoth budget of the film, it’s most befitting of have an international star of Fergie’s stature to lend that extra zing and gloss to the movie.
