Four killed in suicide blast in northwest Pakistan: Police

At least four people were killed on Thursday in a suicide blast in the town of Charsadda in northwest Pakistan, a police official said.
"Many wounded are lying on the ground. We have two policemen and two civilians killed," said a police officer in the town who declined to be identified.
The bombing happened in the northwestern town of Charsadda, close to a guest house belonging to Asfandyar Wali Khan, head of the Awami National Party, local police official Liaqat Khan said.
The politician was not hurt in the attack, which occurred as he was visiting a guest as part of celebrations for the Muslim festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, policeman Khan said.
